This role involves planning, executing, and finalizing facility-related projects to ensure optimal functionality and efficiency. Duties/Responsibilities 40%: Facilities Management: Act as a Department Facilities Representative (DFR) for all units in the Dean's Office. Maintain and ensure the accuracy of space information in central systems. Serve as a resource for other DFRs in the Medical School and OACA. Act as the primary contact for central Facilities Management. 40%: Capital Project and Planning Planning and Management: Collaborate with the Senior Planner with move coordination, inventory management, and data collection. Develop project plans, schedules, and milestones. Coordinate internal resources and manage third parties/vendors. Collaborate with the Director to develop guidelines, principles, and metrics for space and resource utilization. 10%: Strategy support: Generate reports with other Dean's Office units (e.g., Finance, HR) to ensure that facility decisions align with broader organizational priorities Qualifications All required qualifications must be included in the application materials Required Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field, plus a minimum of 4 years work experience; or a combination of education and experience to equal at least 8 years. Proven working experience in project management. Experience working in an academic research environment is preferred. Experience in leading and managing projects. Preferred Qualifications Technical Skills: Ability to quickly learn and become proficient in data collection and reporting across multiple enterprise systems. Proficiency in analyzing project data to make informed decisions. Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and leadership abilities. Strong problem-solving and organizational skills. Working Conditions This position is primarily on-site, with a minimum requirement of 3 days per week.
