In this role, you will leverage your expertise in big data technologies and data visualization tools to design, build, and maintain a scalable data platform that empowers data-driven decision-making across the organization. ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead the technical design and implementation of a new data warehouse using Microsoft Azure data technologies (Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, etc.) Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand data needs and design an efficient data model. Develop and implement data pipelines to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into the data warehouse. Ensure data quality and integrity through data cleansing, validation, and monitoring processes. Configure and administer the BI tool to provide a user-friendly interface for data visualization and analysis. Develop and maintain data governance policies and procedures. WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (Minimum Qualifications): Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. (Preferred) Experience and/or Training: 5+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field. Proven experience in designing and building data warehouses using industry-leading technologies (Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, etc.) Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) Expertise in SQL programming (T-SQL, SQL Server) Experience with ETL tools and processes. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
