Opened in 2020, the Pillars of Prospect Park is conveniently located off the light rail transit station and close to the metro bus near the University of Minnesota campus in Minneapolis, MN. This senior living community features 133 Independent living, 106 assisted living and 44 memory care apartments. Two buildings, make up this vibrant community and also encompasses an on-site Intergenerational Child Care Center. We are looking for a Server/Culinary Assistant to join our team! This food service role is responsible for dining room meal service to our senior age residents and maintaining supplies in the kitchenettes for our Senior Living Community in Minneapolis, MN.
This nutrition services schedule includes;
28 hours per two weeks ; part-time
Three to Four 4pm-7pm shifts per week
Every other weekend and holiday rotation

Responsibilities/Job Description
Serves prepared meals to residents and ensures the dining area is clean and inviting
Promotes and encourages positive resident relations and happiness with their meal service
Sanitizes equipment, work areas and maintains supplies
Assists with meal prep and special events
Provides kitchen support when needed with dish washing and cleaning of floors
Answers phones and communicates requests appropriately
Qualifications
No previous experience required, but prefer work experience in a customer service setting
Excellent customer service skills and proficiency, teamwork and positive demeanor required
Desire to work with seniors
Ability to interact compassionately and communicate effectively with residents and staff
