Robert Half Controller in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Controller based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This role revolves around the comprehensive management of our financial operations. The successful candidate will be entrusted with the planning and forecasting of our financial vision, the development of accounting, budgeting, auditing, internal controls, job costing, and sound business practices.

Responsibilities:

• Organize and manage all company finances

• Assist in the creation of a strategic financial plan, including methods to increase revenue and reduce costs

• Budget, forecast, and help oversee current and future investments and capital structures

• Assess financial risks and work to minimize them

• Create financial outlook reports and ensure company funds are sufficient

• Manage and track budget and accounting information including billing, collections, and tax information

• Ensure compliance with tax requirements and reporting

• Oversee all fiscal reporting within the company and create monthly budget reports

• Supervise and delegate tasks to the financial team

• Report to and work with the CEO on all financial matters.

Skills:

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Familiarity with Accounting Functions

• Knowledge of Auditing processes

• Experience with Budget Processes. Requirements

• Applicant must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Controller role or similar position.

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required.

• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems is essential.

• Comprehensive knowledge of Accounting Functions is needed.

• Experience in Auditing is mandatory.

• Proficiency in managing Budget Processes is ideal.

• Excellent communication and leadership skills are required.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is preferred.

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification is advantageous.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• High level of integrity and dependability.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

• Strong knowledge of federal and state financial regulations.
