Position Summary

As the Compensation Leader, you will shape human capital strategies and initiatives to foster a positive and productive work environment, improve employee retention, reward talent, and enhance the overall employee experience.

The Compensation Leader will plan, coordinate, and administer compensation programs and policies to ensure the effectiveness of the total rewards strategy. You will provide thought leadership and advice to create innovative solutions that align compensation policy and practice with business objectives, ensuring support for the attraction and retention of our most valuable asset, our people. You will lead the development, execution, communication, and administration of global compensation programs. Influencing and collaborating with Accounting, Finance, Payroll, and Legal partners is key to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evolve and optimize a global total rewards strategy that meets the changing needs of our business and aligns with the organization's objectives.

  • Lead the design, optimization, and management of market-competitive global compensation programs.

  • Complete survey participation to gather market information.

  • Conduct analysis and modeling to assess the impact of compensation programs and initiatives.

  • Collaborate with People COEs and business leaders to determine, gain alignment on, and implement differentiating rewards programs.

  • Actively participate in the development of the annual corporate proxy and sustainability report.

  • Provide expert advisement and consultation to leaders through external benchmark data and internal best practice guidelines on compensation practices and policies.

  • Consult on appropriately leveraging market data information to drive business decisions that help recruit, retain, and develop top talent.

  • Lead annual and ongoing compensation programs, driving communication and change management to ensure smooth adoption of new practices.

  • Serve as advanced compensation SME within HCM solution; address and resolve compensation-related HCM cases

  • Respond to all levels of employees for problem resolution of compensation-related inquiries and concerns in a timely manner; identify communication and training opportunities for employees, leaders and/or people team that can enhance the employee and leader experience.

  • Utilize data analytics to assess the effectiveness of total rewards programs, making data-driven decisions.

  • Maintain job profiles and support efforts to define and manage our global job architecture.

  • Manage vendor relations as needed.

  • Perform other job duties as necessary.

Qualifications

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a directly related field and 5+ years of relevant experience or equivalent.

  • Or, High School equivalent with 8+ years of relevant experience.

  • Preferred Certified Compensation Professional (CCP)

  • Preferred Experience in Workday

  • Preferred Proven experience in multi-national organization(s).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Experience in compensation disciplines: base salary structure design, incentive plan design, pay administration, or commission plan design.

  • Ability to lead and influence at the enterprise level and build buy-in and influence senior executives.

  • Effective and discreet interpersonal communication skills with all levels of employees.

  • Experience with project management and change management approaches and tools.

  • Skilled in exercising solid judgment when evaluating and handling ambiguous and complex situations with minimal oversight.

  • Ability to embrace change and suggest creative, innovative solutions as it relates to business needs.

  • Strategic thinking, analytical skills, and an inherent curiosity with an aptitude to learn.

  • Skilled in maintaining professionalism and meeting confidentiality expectations concerning confidential, proprietary, and sensitive Company information.

  • Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.

  • Ability to work professionally and calmly in a time-sensitive, sometimes stressful environment.
