Let's Redefine Possible SUMMARY Mortenson is currently seeking a part-time (20-25 hours/week) Community Workforce Program Coordinator who will administer the Community Workforce Program for the Surgical and Critical Care Building (SCCB) Project. The SCCB will be a 500,000+ square foot addition to Abbott Northwestern Hospital's south Minneapolis campus. This position will work closely with the project management team in maximizing employment opportunities for local neighborhood residents, women, and people of color on the project. The Program Coordinator will be based on the project site which is located at 800 E. 28th Street in Minneapolis, MN. RESPONSIBILITIES Identify community agencies as potential referral sources for women and minority workers. Conduct informational sessions with community referral agencies regarding the CWP and its requirements for participation. Conduct outreach to promote this work opportunity to the community. Develop and maintain applicant database. Coordinate referral and placement of workers to the project. Monitor and document program activities. Maintain liaison with community referral agencies to address any issues. Conduct participant orientations, as needed. Conduct site personnel orientations, as needed. Conduct monthly evaluations of the participants in the program. Conduct exit interviews with program participants and assist with referral/placement opportunities. Maintain appropriate records and provide monthly status reports to the Construction Manager. QUALIFICATIONS Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 3 years administrative experience, preferably supporting a large number of team members Bilingual in Spanish, preferred Proficiency in working on the computer in Microsoft Office, Excel, Email and Calendar systems, and PowerPoint Strong working knowledge of basic office equipment Strong communication skills both written and verbal Ability to be highly organized Visa sponsorship is not offered for this position.
