We are seeking an experienced COBOL Developer with specialized expertise in RX claims processing to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with COBOL on the AS/400 platform, specifically in the areas of CBLLE, CLE, and CL programming. This role is critical in maintaining and enhancing our claims processing systems, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize COBOL programs on the AS/400 platform, with a focus on CBLLE, CLE, and CL.

  • Analyze and process RX claims, ensuring that all claims are handled in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and refine requirements, ensuring that system enhancements meet business needs.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to COBOL programs, with a particular focus on claims processing.

  • Document technical specifications, procedures, and configurations to support the maintenance and enhancement of COBOL applications.

  • Perform unit testing and collaborate with QA teams to ensure the reliability and accuracy of system changes.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes related to RX claims processing, incorporating best practices into system enhancements.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a COBOL Developer, with a minimum of [X] years of experience on the AS/400 platform.
