Position Summary Pharmacy residents in the pharmacy practice residency program at Children's Hospitals and Clinics shall be able to: be effective, self-reliant practitioners providing pharmaceutical care to pediatric patients in multiple environments; provide professional leadership as a role model and demonstrate commitment to the pharmacy profession; function as a member of the health care team, demonstrating maturity and effective interpersonal skills; effectively educate other health professionals, students, patients and community regarding health care issues; conduct ongoing self- evaluation to continue to develop personal and professional skills; identify, collect and manage data to support clinical outcomes and research. *Graduate from a college/school of Pharmacy accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) OR graduate from a foreign college of pharmacy that has at least a five-year curriculum and has passed the Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency Examination (FPGEE) and become certified by the Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency Commission (FPGEC), required. *Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an ACPE-accredited institution, preferred. *Pharmacist Licensure in the state of Minnesota current or within four months of hire. *Basic Life Support (BLS) certification current or within three months of hire, required.
