Position Summary Pharmacy residents in the pharmacy practice residency program at Children's Hospitals and Clinics shall be able to: be effective, self-reliant practitioners providing pharmaceutical care to pediatric patients in multiple environments; provide professional leadership as a role model and demonstrate commitment to the pharmacy profession; function as a member of the health care team, demonstrating maturity and effective interpersonal skills; effectively educate other health professionals, students, patients and community regarding health care issues; conduct ongoing self- evaluation to continue to develop personal and professional skills; identify, collect and manage data to support clinical outcomes and research. *Graduate from a college/school of Pharmacy accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) OR graduate from a foreign college of pharmacy that has at least a five-year curriculum and has passed the Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency Examination (FPGEE) and become certified by the Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency Commission (FPGEC), required. *Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an ACPE-accredited institution, preferred. *Pharmacist Licensure in the state of Minnesota current or within four months of hire. *Basic Life Support (BLS) certification current or within three months of hire, required. When determining individual pay rates, we carefully consider a wide range of factors including but not limited to market indicators for the specific role, the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate, internal equity and organizational needs. In addition to your salary, this position may be eligible for medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other fringe benefits. Positions that require night, weekend or on-call work may be eligible for shift differentials or premium pay.
