This position will work with faculty evaluators to gather requirements for evaluating transfer credit within the colleges. This position will also work with the vendor, CollegeSource, and internal teams in ongoing development, business process documentation and review, and establishment of best practices for TES. This position will also work with our Catalog and Curriculum Management system, Coursedog, and will have responsibilities tied to course equivalencies, prerequisites, and other course setup. The individual in this role will be expected to work effectively with ASR and University staff, recommend appropriate solutions, and work under limited supervision. In addition, this position will provide second-tier technical TES support for staff working in ASR and other units. Academic Support Resources supports hybrid andflexible working arrangements. Work arrangements are determined in coordination with supervisors depending on the nature of the unit and position. The arrangement for this position will be determined upon hire between employee and supervisor. Transfer Evaluation Production Support and Maintenance (TES system): (60%) Maintain transfer course equivalencies in the TES routing workflow and uAchieve (undergraduate degree audit). Monitor and respond to inquiries/questions about transfer evaluation and advise on transfer processes and best practices. Perform ongoing, proactive analysis of expiring transfer course equivalencies using TES and proactive communication with colleges and departments to ensure course equivalencies remain up-to-date. Collaborate with TES team members to: Maintain college/major specific transfer guides. Maintain system campus equivalency process. Maintain policies and procedures related to transfer evaluation and TES. Identify and prioritize future process enhancements. Create and maintain documentation and/or resources for end user training. Transfer Evaluation System (TES) & Transferology Product Ownership (20%) Serve as the lead and product owner for Transferology and TES. Maintain subject matter expert knowledge of the product and processes. Establish and maintain quality working relationships with the product vendor. In collaboration with the Associate Director, oversee the daily work of the TES team and lead team meetings. Establish and maintain quality working relationships with Twin Cities Admissions staff, colleagues across the University system, and with local/regional institutions while effectively representing ASR and the University. Analyze and assist with data and information requests. Identify trends in transfer evaluations and use data to inform best practices, ongoing development and growth of TES, and telling the story of the transfer student experience. Assist with system-wide initiatives in the transfer evaluation space. Prepare and lead ongoing end user training for TES, Transferology, and TransferologyLab. Serve on committees and task forces as required. Course & Curriculum Management (20%) Review new and updated course proposals in the catalog & curriculum management system, Coursedog. Update course information (course equivalencies, course prerequisites, and topics) in the student information system, PeopleSoft. Provide course/class enrollment support and troubleshooting when enrollment issues/errors arise. Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: A BA/BS degree plus two years of relevant full-time work experience, or a master's degree. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience with a student inf rmation system (PeopleSoft preferred). Experience with a transfer evaluation and/or degree audit system (TES, Transferology, uAchieve preferred). Experience with a catalog and curriculum management system (Coursedog preferred). Experience with maintaining student records and interpreting policies. Strong attention to detail. Ability to diagnose technical problems and problem-solve. Strong communication (written/verbal) and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and and part of a team.
