Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice on a wide range of subjects including business entities, mergers & acquisitions (M& A), and business administration.

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents and agreements.

• Ensure the organization's policies and procedures comply with applicable laws and regulations.

• Collaborate with internal teams to identify potential legal issues and provide proactive legal support.

• Handle external legal matters, including litigation, disputes, and other legal proceedings.

• Monitor changes in laws and regulations that may affect the organization and implement necessary changes.

• Develop and deliver training and guidance to the organization on legal matters.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure the organization's legal compliance.

• Manage relationships with external legal counsel and other professional service providers.

• Conduct legal research and prepare legal opinions on various matters.

Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of private practice experience, supporting business law

• Licensed in good standing in Minnesota or ability to gain appropriate licensure.

• Demonstrated ability to manage clients, communication and process successfully.

• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
