"Associate Creative DirectorDuration: Full-Time/Direct HireHybrid Schedule: Hybrid. Onsite Tuesdays, Wednesdays and ThursdaysRate Range: $140,000 - $155,000, with potential annual bonusPosition OverviewWe are seeking an innovative and experienced Associate Creative Director to join our team who has a strong understanding of the packaging and production design industry. This role is pivotal in shaping brand identity and enhancing consumer engagement through compelling creative strategies. The ideal candidate will lead creative projects from conception to execution, ensuring alignment with brand vision and market trends.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the creative process for brand identity and packaging design projects.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute innovative marketing strategies.Oversee photography and print packaging initiatives, ensuring high-quality visual outputs.Provide creative direction and leadership to junior designers and team members.Stay current with industry trends and consumer insights to inform creative decisions.Present creative concepts and strategies to clients and stakeholders, articulating the vision and rationale behind the work.Work with outside agencies to lead work on brand identity, brand architecture, naming, photography, package design and integrated marketing communicationsYou will oversee a team of packaging design managers, copywriters, packaging production specialists, as well as their in-house studio team that is responsible for marketing and branding effortsQualificationsMinimum of 5 years' experience in packaging and production design and brand identity Experience in leading and mentoring a team of designers Able to lead a team through guiding strategy process Strong leadership skills - able to influence decisions in meetings, while also having hands-on design skills to support the team when neededStrong portfolio showcasing expertise in packaging design and creative leadership.Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Experience in agency settings is a plus.In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data.
