Our Fortune 100 Client is looking for a detail-oriented Associate Collections Representative to join their team. As an Associate Collections Representative, you will be responsible for managing outstanding hospital accounts, utilizing your expertise in the EPIC system, and knowledge of both Commercial and Government payors. The Associate Collections Representativ offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Handle follow-ups on outstanding hospital accounts, ensuring the timely and accurate collection of funds.

• Utilize the EPIC system to monitor and manage customer accounts effectively.

• Review and respond to correspondences related to collection activities.

• Apply your knowledge of Commercial and Government payors in the collection processes.

• Create appeals on denials and underpayments, ensuring all actions are compliant with industry standards.

• Leverage your skills in workstation support to maintain efficient operations.

• Collaborate with offshore teams as necessary to optimize collection processes.

• Use your understanding of TRICARE, NIS, and other relevant systems to enhance the collection process.

• Ensure all activities adhere to the standard collection processes and protocols.

• Maintain accurate customer credit records, updating them as necessary based on account activity.

Requirements • Proficiency in reviewing and understanding insurance claims.

• Familiarity with collection processes and appeals.

• Experience working with offshore teams.

• Ability to handle denials, underpayments, and government payors.

• Knowledge of Epic System and TRICARE.

• Understanding of NIS (Network Information Service).

• Experience with Workstation Support.

• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
