Candidates with a research focus in inflammation, inflammatory dermatoses, immuno-oncology, immune checkpoint biology and novel therapeutics development are encouraged to apply. Candidates are expected to have postdoctoral training, track record of scholarship and history of successful grant funding. Successful candidates are expected to have and/or obtain independent, externally funded, and sustainable scholarly research program. Evidence of conducting rigorous and innovative research and a track record of publications is required. The candidate will participate in Department of Dermatology faculty and research activities, teach medical students, residents, graduate students and post-docs. 100 to 80% of effort will be spent in a research setting - overseeing the development and completion of research projects; writing new grant proposals to secure independent funding; preparing manuscripts for publication. The campus provides excellent state of the art core facilities for biomedical research. The Genomics Center and Imaging Center at University of Minnesota boast the top-of-the-line novel spatial proteogenomics technology from Ionpath, 10X Genomics and Nanostring. Qualifications Required Qualifications: Successful candidates will have a PhD, MD, MD/PhD or equivalent, in research areas described below.
