This is a hybrid position and would require you to be in the local office 2-3 days a week. An ideal candidate will have experience implementing or designing cloud native solutions that use such cloud native architecture patterns and practices. They will have experience analyzing data for transformation from SQL to NoSQL. They will analyze and document the structure of our current databases, help create new data models, and ensure alignment with business requirements, rules, and regulations. They will be effective communicators that can collaborate closely with team members on cross functional scrum teams. They will work with product owners and engineers to identify, plan and prioritize the work needed to evolve data between legacy and new systems. They will assist with designing bridge mechanisms to synchronize data between systems. They will document the systems being created using diagrams and other visualizations, to support operational and deployment planning and security review artifacts. The successful candidate will analyze and document the structure of our current databases, help create new data models, and ensure alignment with business requirements, rules, and regulations. This role requires a deep understanding of data management, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and enterprise data architect. Key Responsibilities Work closely with architects, software engineers, business analysts and product owners to understand current data models, implement and optimize new data models. Communicate findings, insights and recommendation to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Provide support and training to users of new data models and database structures. Database Analysis and Documentation Analyze existing database structures to understand data flows, relationships, and dependencies. Document the current database schema, data dictionaries, and data lineage. Identify areas for improvement and optimization in current database structures. Data Modeling Collaborate with product owners, data architects and software engineers to design and develop new data models that meet business needs. Ensure data models are scalable, efficient, and aligned with best practices. Create and maintain data models, diagrams, and documentation. Data Management Understand and apply relevant data governance, data privacy, and regulatory requirements. Develop and implement data quality checks and validation processes. Provide documentation and diagrams that can be used by other architects, engineers, product, security, and operations to understand the system. Work closely with enterprise architects and engineering teams to build application modernization roadmaps in adherence with enterprise standards. Hands-on prototyping of solutions to drive value and demonstrate vision. Ensure operational and security standards are architecturally addressed in collaboration with security and technology teams. Work with agile teams to iteratively deliver value for the business. About the ideal candidate Relevant Work Experience: 8+ years of experience designin and delivering software applications 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar role. Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server). Understanding of NoSQL data stores and JSON document modeling Understanding of data modeling concepts. Experience with data modeling tools (e.g., ERwin, ER/Studio). Strong analytical skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Experience with cloud native deployment patterns, including CQRS and event-based architectures. Strong communication skills to facilitate collaboration across multiple groups, ability to present solutions, and build consensus. C# and Python experience is preferred. Travel industry experience is a plus. Azure certification is a plus.
