Fairview Health Services Anesthesia Aide in Minneapolis, Minnesota
We are looking for a hardworking and motivated Anesthesia Aide to join our Operating Room team!
University of Minnesota Medical Center is the flagship location for University of Minnesota Health. This position will work on the East Bank campus in Minneapolis which serves an all adult patient population.
This location offers the widest range of hospital and clinical services provided through University of Minnesota Health. Complete services range from primary care and emergency care to deliver care to patients with the most complex and acute conditions.
Areas of specialization include:
Solid organ transplant
Blood and marrow transplantation
This position is a fulltime, benefit eligible role, that works 80 hours per 2 week pay period. This is a rotating shift but primarily 8:00am-5:00pm and 2:30pm-11pm, Monday through Friday. The new hire will need to be able to train on the day and evening shifts for 2 weeks.

Facilitates OR room turnover for anesthesia and operating rooms
Performs cleanup of ORs
Readies OR for next patient
Accurately cares for equipment and takes action for preventative maintenance
Transports specimens and blood products
Maintains inventory control
Orders and tracks supplies
Supervises arrivals of back orders
Returns incorrect or damaged orders
Restocks department with supplies
Makes rounds to keep inventory in stock
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers
- One year of working in healthcare or patient care related field including six month experience working in an operating room
