This is a clerical, patient-facing position, that is 100% in person. Detailed Job Responsibilities: Support to Dental Clinic Director and Associate Administrator - 40%: Answer, screen and appropriately redirect phone calls. Independently respond to letters and general correspondence of a routine nature Schedule meetings as requested Dentrix reports, daily, weekly and monthly Assist with reconciliation of Aged Trial Balance reports Assist with the timely filing of dental claims and statements Assist with provider audits Prepare memos, correspondence, and spreadsheets as requested Provide administrative support to the Dental Clinic Associate Administrator Provide supplementary support to the director of Dental Clinic Tracking of required provider training (e.g. EHR, BBPE, MN licensure). Provide clerical support for the providers as needed Promote a safe, equitable, and respectful environment in which concerns can be addressed effectively. Dental Clinic Front office support - 30%: Checking in patients for appointments Support process for meeting preparation Assist with management of phone calls coming into the Dental clinic Screen and sort incoming mail and faxes Type, word process and fax documents. Maintain Calendar and schedule meetings Duplication of x-rays and records per patient request Other duties as assigned by Dental Clinic Associate Administrator - 5% Administrative support for other departments with projects as assigned (e.g. Admin, Human Resources etc.) - 25% Qualifications Required Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED and four years of related office experience. Training/education may be substituted for some of the years of experience. Computer experience. Proficient in MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Calendar. Demonstrated commitment to promoting a culture that respects and advances diversity and inclusion. Preferred Qualifications: Accounting or finance experience. Experience working in a team setting and experience communicating with patients. Good verbal communication skills, previous decision making skills. Dental experience. Experience formatting, editing and proofreading business correspondence and completing business forms for grammatical errors. Calendaring experience. Experience working with U of M's Chart of accounts and Management Reports. Experience working with individuals from diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
