Material Handler

PeopleReady of Mingo Junction, OH is now hiring Material Handlers.As a material handler, your duties include loading, unloading, and transporting materials within or near a facility, yard, or job site. You peruse work orders or receive verbal instructions to determine the materials to be moved.

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $20 -$22 / hour

What you'll be doing as a Material Handler:

• Move material to allocated areas in yard

• Load and unload trucks

• Perform general housekeeping duties to keep yard clean and organized

• Perform some preventative maintenance on equipment

• Ensure piles are safely piled to avoid material from falling or piling down

• Operate two-way radios and other communication equipment

• Maintain cleanliness of yard

• Achieve or exceed operational targets

• Reviewing, tracking and filing equipment pre-operational checklists

Available shifts:

 Shift Timings - All Available

Job requirements:

• 1 year experience operating material handler, specifically a Liebherr

• Clean and valid driver's license

• Be able to pass background check and drug screen
