✨Join a group of passionate advocates on our mission to improve the lives of youth! Rite of Passage Team is hiring Foster Youth Care Workers at the Qualifying Houses in Minden, Nevada✨
The Nevada Qualifying House located in Northern Nevada is a licensed Group Foster Home designated to provide therapeutic services, education support, life skills training, and recreational activities for male youth between the ages of 8 and 17. Our program utilizes a trauma-informed model and evidence-based practices to provide comprehensive care in a stable, therapeutic, homelike environment, with round-the-clock support from house parents and attentive staff.
Pay: Starting at $18 an hour.

What you will do: Foster Youth Care Workers are responsible for the day-to-day supervision of children in the residential home. You will be performing duties necessary for the overall care and well-being of children in the residence.
To be considered you should: Possess a high school diploma or equivalent Be at least 21 years of age Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test Be able to pass a search of the child abuse central registry.
Schedule:
A Shift – Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday 12:00pm – 10:30pm * 30-minute break and Sunday 8:am – 8:00pm or 10:00am – 10:00pm * 2-hour break
B Shift – Wednesday/Thursday/Friday 12:00pm – 10:30pm and Saturday 8:00am – 8:00pm or 10:00am – 10:00pm * 2-hour break
