Job Summary

The Sheldon B. Lubar College of Business at the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee invites applications for a Technical Integration Engineer II ( SAP Specialist) to join our team. We are responsible for supporting faculty and students at nearly 200 academic institutions throughout North America and Asia that participate in SAP’s University Alliances program. The individual will work in the SAP University Competence Center ( UCC ) at the Lubar College of Business. We perform the installation, maintenance, and support of SAP products. The Center is one of only two in the Americas and one of five in the world. In close partnership with SAP , the UCC promotes content development and the upskilling of faculty and students in the latest SAP software.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology management or related business field

  • Demonstrated hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA software

  • Ability to explain the differences between on-premise and cloud ERP software and the merits of each

  • Deep understanding of business processes and the critical need for ERP systems

  • Self-motivated and able to solve problems creatively

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities

    Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role

  • Experience with analyzing and solving technical issues related to software installations

  • Experience with curriculum and datasets developed by members of the SAP University Alliance program

  • Understanding of server and datacenter technologies, including backup and recovery, storage, networking, power supplies, and HVAC

  • Experience with creating master data (vendors/customers/materials) in SAP

  • Ability to troubleshoot functional SAP issues that may arise

    Target Salary Range Final salary offer will be commensurate with experience and education
