The Shift Supervisor is responsible for managing and coordinating daily manufacturing operations to ensure the efficient production of high-quality products. This role involves supervising production staff, overseeing equipment and processes, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards, and meeting production goals. What you\'ll be doing: Oversee daily production operations to ensure that manufacturing processes run smoothly and efficiently. Assign tasks to production staff and monitor their performance. Ensure that production schedules are met, adjusting plans as necessary to accommodate any delays or issues. Monitor production processes to ensure products meet established quality standards. Identify and address any issues or defects in the production process. Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to implement and maintain quality improvement initiatives. Lead, train, and mentor production staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and identify opportunities for staff development. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations. Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions to promote a safe working environment. Prepare and maintain accurate production reports, including daily output, quality control data, and incident logs. Communicate production status and any issues to management and other relevant departments. Maintain records of employee attendance, performance, and training.
