Job Title Payroll Analyst

Job Description

Conduct periodic payroll reviews and audits to ensure payroll, tax, and deferrals are paid timely and accurately to third parties. Manage all year-end payroll processing, tasks, and reporting. Handle reconciliations such as payroll to general ledger balances and associated bank statements. Lead the payroll process and manage the distribution of biweekly, monthly, and annual payroll reports and metrics. Oversee and execute all payroll processes including benefit deductions, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions, ensuring integrity in processing weekly, bi-weekly, and unionized payrolls. Ensure new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates are completed in a timely and accurate manner. Identify, implement, review, and improve payroll systems, policies, and processes. Prepare and maintain accurate weekly, quarterly, and yearly records and reports of payroll transactions. Provide necessary payroll registers, reports, etc. that are needed by accounting.

Hard Skills

  • Payroll Systems experience - ideally DayForce

  • Systems Configuration and system test scenarios

  • W2 audits experience

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 3 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and some days remote.

Work Environment

Hybrid work environment after training and getting onboarded with the team. Most likely Monday and Friday are from home and the rest of the days in the office once this individual is up and running. The first couple of weeks for training will need to be onsite.
