JOB REQUIREMENTS: Responsibilities: Guide IT Security teams to ensure secure operations, emphasizing risk management, security controls, and business continuity. Provide expert guidance on security-related requests, prioritizing efforts across various technologies and business domains. Mentor and direct support staff and administrators, ensuring effective execution of security projects. Collaborate with IT and other departments to develop and implement security standards and procedures for business processes and applications. Oversee the threat operations program, managing staff, enforcing policies, and ensuring preparedness through emergency planning and security awareness initiatives. Clearly convey security concepts to various stakeholders, including business users, developers, and IT Security teams. Serve as a key expert in IT Security operations, managing assignments, fostering skill development, and providing continuous feedback. Establish proactive monitoring, reporting, and metrics systems, offering risk and remediation guidelines to uphold security best practices, including incident response requirements. Engage with technical managers and development teams to define and implement security requirements, collaborating on design, testing, and user acceptance. Manage the triage of intelligence alerts/events and prioritize remediation activities, supported by thorough analysis and executive decision-making content. Education/Experience: Bachelor\'s degree required; relevant experience may be considered. Over 5 years of IT experience within large or enterprise-level organizations. At least 2 years of specialized experience in IT Security within similar environments. Background in PCI compliance or similar regulatory frameworks. Knowledge of enterprise-level network architecture and topologies. Experience with Cloud and On-premise security design.
