Actalent Revit Drafter in Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Revit Drafter

Job responsibilities:

  • Creating Technical Drawings: Use Revit software to produce detailed architectural and engineering drawings for various projects

  • Collaborating with Teams: Work closely with architects, engineers, and other team members to ensure designs meet project specifications and industry standards

  • Revising Drawings: Update and modify drawings based on feedback from team members and clients

  • Maintaining Documentation: Ensure all design documents are accurate and up-to-date

  • Learning and Development: Continuously improve Revit skills and stay updated with the latest software features and industry trends

Qualifications:

  • Education: An associate degree in drafting, engineering, architecture, or a related field is often preferred

  • Software Proficiency: Proficiency in Revit is essential. Familiarity with other CAD software like AutoCAD can be a plus

  • Experience: Requires 0-2 years of experience OR candidates who have gained skills through internships or coursework

  • Technical Skills: Strong technical design skills, attention to detail, and the ability to understand and apply building codes and regulations

  • Communication Skills: Good communication and project management skills to collaborate effectively with team members
