In the role of Research Associate I you will beworking in Biophysics.Position The Marassi laboratory at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) invites applications for a Research Associate who will provide high-level research support on a range of biomolecular projects focused on understanding protein-protein, protein-lipid and protein-biomineral interactions in the context of host-pathogen interactions, degenerative diseases (macular degeneration, Alzheimer\'s, etc.) and cancer.Primary Functions Independently design and execute experimental procedures Collect and analyze data Gain expertise in emerging technologies through workshops and other training opportunities Train laboratory members on various technologies and procedures Prepare text and graphic results for manuscripts and presentations. Present and participate at scientific meetings Act as laboratory manager#LI-AV1 Preferred Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am - 5pm (occasional evenings and weekends) Position Requirements: Specifications BA or MS degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biophysics, or closely related field. Experience in protein biochemistry. Understanding of general and complex laboratory procedures and scientific methods. Ability to work independently to develop and apply research protocols. Why MCW?
