Robert Half Rental Manager in Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Description Job Overview:

As the Rental Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our rental department. This includes managing rental agreements, coordinating equipment availability, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and leading a team of rental coordinators. Your goal will be to optimize rental processes, enhance customer satisfaction, and drive the growth of our rental business.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management:

Oversee the rental process from equipment availability to delivery and return.

Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure all equipment is in optimal working condition.

Develop and implement efficient rental procedures and policies.

Monitor rental inventory and manage equipment logistics.

Customer Service:

Serve as the primary point of contact for rental clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues.

Develop strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.

Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and handle any escalated concerns promptly.

Team Leadership:

Manage and mentor a team of rental coordinators and support staff.

Conduct performance evaluations and provide training to enhance team skills.

Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.

Financial Management:

Develop and manage the rental department budget.

Monitor rental rates and adjust pricing strategies as needed.

Prepare and analyze reports on rental performance and profitability.

Compliance and Safety:

Ensure all rental operations comply with company policies and industry regulations.

Implement and enforce safety procedures to prevent accidents and equipment damage.

Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain equipment and operational standards.

Business Development:

Identify opportunities for expanding the rental business and increasing market share.

Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to promote rental services and attract new clients.
