Psychiatric Technician - Transporter Behavioral Health Services Hourly Pay Range: \$15.07 - \$21.96 Closing Date: 2/25/2025 or upon receipt of the first 50 applications Job Summary: The Psychiatric Technician Transporter performs an essential service to Milwaukee County by providing involuntary clients transportation to various destinations including hospitals and mental health court clients in the inpatient hospital setting. Technicians will be required to de-escalate agitated clients, problem solve, and provide needed client care during transport while communicating with their supervisor and dispatcher regarding in-route transport. Job Duties: Perform a variety of hands-on care including assisting patients with ADLs/IADLs, admissions, discharges, and transfers of patients. Perform documentation of transport events, status of vehicle, and mileage. Document any billable DHS 34 services in the electronic health record as required.
