As an Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in residential, commercial, or industrial settings. Key Responsibilities: Installation: Install electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment according to local & NEC electrical codes and safety standards. Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and inspections on electrical systems to ensure their proper functionality and safety. Repairs: Diagnose electrical issues, troubleshoot faults, and make necessary repairs to restore service. Upgrades: Upgrade existing electrical systems to improve efficiency, capacity, or safety. Compliance: Ensure all electrical work complies with relevant regulations, codes, and safety standards. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including parts used and time spent on tasks. Collaboration: Work closely with other tradespeople, contractors, and clients to ensure project requirements are met. Emergency Response: Provide prompt and effective response to electrical emergencies, including outages and malfunctions. Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of an apprenticeship program or technical school is preferred. Certification: Valid electrician\'s license or certification as required by state of Wisconsin regulations. Experience: Proven experience as an electrician, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and components. Skills: Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics. Ability to use electrical testing and diagnostic tools effectively. Knowledge: Familiarity with safety procedures and regulations related to electrical work. Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects and working in various conditions. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and address electrical issues efficiently. Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
