How you will help us create value together: As a Manufacturing Engineer - Large Machining Intern, you will be responsible for a range of support activities for the Manufacturing Engineering/Programming team. The Manufacturing Engineering team works with a variety of departments and develops the Manufacturing operations to setup and machine a variety of large structures for Electric Mining Shovels. Activities will include working with Manufacturing Engineers on cost savings and process improvement projects, building of tools and tool lists associated with programs for Tool Data Management, and developing setups, work instructions, and process sheets with the Programmer. This onsite position will be based onsite at our South Harbor location in Milwaukee\'s Harbor District. The target start date for this role is Summer 2025 and has potential to be extended into the Fall 2025 school semester. We offer full-time hours during the summer and flexible part-time hours during the academic year.
