Brady Corporation Inside Sales Specialist II in Milwaukee, Wisconsin
What We Need:
Brady is seeking a results-driven Inside Sales Specialist II to generate revenue by actively following up on inbound marketing leads and building strong, ongoing relationships with assigned end-user and distributor accounts. This role focuses on ensuring post-sale consumable pull-through, uncovering customer needs through solution-based selling, and identifying opportunities for additional Brady products and safety services. As a key team member, you will demonstrate best practices while mentoring and coaching peers, contributing to the overall success of the team.
What You'll Be Doing:
Leverage Brady’s promotional offers to identify and create cross-selling opportunities.
Conduct post-sale quality assurance calls on behalf of regionally aligned field sales representatives and New Business Development Specialists to prevent customer attrition, assess satisfaction, drive consumable pull-through, and place additional Brady products at end-user facilities.
Import leads into Salesloft and enroll them in the appropriate cadence for follow-up.
Build and maintain strong relationships with end-users, utilizing Salesforce for pre-call research to understand customer preferences and transactional history.
Provide alternative product recommendations when desired items are out of stock or unavailable.
Assist with Digital Chat on BID to uncover new accounts and contacts, mining and routing leads to the appropriate team members.
Leverage knowledge of strategic platforms to create opportunities for regionally aligned counterparts.
Mentor and train new hires in SAP, Salesforce, Salesloft, and Nice as needed.
May participate in trade shows to represent Brady and uncover new opportunities.
Explore career development opportunities by shadowing employees in other departments, such as Channel and MarComm.
Accompany field sales representatives on ride-alongs as needed.
What You Will Need To Be Successful:
High school diploma or equivalent required; a Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
Minimum of one year of inside sales experience.
Strong understanding of the full-cycle sales process, including the ability to self-generate qualified leads that result in site visits or closed opportunities.
Effective selling skills, with strong oral and written communication and presentation abilities.
Proven ability to independently manage a sales region while meeting or exceeding goals.
Flexibility to assist with lead queues outside of the assigned region or strategic platform as needed.
Proficiency in Salesforce, Salesloft, or similar CRM and cadence-management applications is preferred.
