JOB REQUIREMENTS: Opportunity for an Industry Manager to join the Commercial Team. In this capacity, the Industry Manager will take ownership of the assigned Micro-Motion strategic elements, develop strategic initiatives, define cross-functional action plans, track and report progress as part of the overall Micro-Motion strategy. Support Product Management with the definition of product roadmaps. Accountable and responsible for strategic plan development, identification of market trends, mapping of competitive landscape, strategy development, value proposition, content creation for Marcom, identification of product needs, global account mapping, and VOC collection. Responsible for supporting determination of market required pricing & lead-times as well as customer relationship development through extensive market knowledge. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Develop and execute the strategy for Micro-Motion division that will enable growth and increase Portescap market share. Own and communicate the strategy to drive organizational alignment and work with the functional leaders (Account Management, Business Development, Pricing, Operations, Product Management, and Marketing) for its successful implementation. Collaboratively work with Business Development and Account Management to gather the market needs and competitive information to develop market-based platform-products. Enhance value propositions through developed strategy. Support Account Management and Business Development for the development of customer proposals as well as new product specifications based on identified market and customer needs. Provide guidance with regards to competitive pricing and landscape to enable accelerated growth and margin profile. Drive the evaluation of innovation opportunities through Engineering, the Technology group, and Product Management. Develop and manage Voice-of-Customer campaigns across customer-facing resources to identify customer and market trends. Maintains extensive knowledge of the Micro-Motion verticals and trends through participation at tradeshows, industry seminars, and Voice-of-Customer campaigns. Develop and maintain a market segmentation that highlights current/emerging trends and sustainable growth opportunities for Portescap. Create and execute on Marcom plan as part of overall strategy. Generate regular and consistent content for publication by Marcom team. With support from Account Management, Business Development, and Commercial Operations, globally map strategic accounts across markets and geographies.
