Description Lutheran Social Services of WI and Upper MI (LSS) is looking for a dedicated and passionate Human Services Professional / Therapist to join our School Centered Mental Health team! This position works in the community and with Milwaukee Public School systems. The School Centered Mental Health (SCMH) model is a comprehensive school-based model that utilizes a trauma-informed team approach to pro-actively engage the child and their family in the home, school, and community. The SCMH therapist and Family Coach work together and with the child\'s family, school team, and other identified supports and/or service facilitators to provide children and families have access to culturally appropriate, comprehensive, and preventative mental health services. This is a full time, benefits eligible, dual role as a human services professional and therapist - in training. As a Human Services Professional, or therapist - in training, with School Centered Mental Health you will: Provide in-home, in-school, in-community, and in-office family therapy services to youth clients and their families. Conduct assessments of client needs using clinical interview, objective diagnostic tools. Develop treatment plan collaboratively with client and other providers Provide agreed upon and necessary therapeutic services, keeping with strength-based, evidence-based best practice Connect the family to needed resources that impact social determinants of health Complete required documentation within required timelines Attend client recovery team meetings Actively participate in clinical supervision Provide skill development and parent education that align with therapeutic goals EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Master\'s degree...
