Leads in the development and management of assigned underwriting and analyst teams. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Act as subject matter expert in all major areas of underwriting, including special pricing and marketing projects. * Meet with clients and Financial & Underwriting team to define and accomplish projects. * Assist in determining strategic goals of team(s), including but not limited to resource planning, education/training needs, policy development, and business growth. * Identify, coordinate, and manage all relevant external business partner relationships, including but not limited to insurance carriers, external consultants, and third party administrators and vendors. * Act as subject matter expert in understanding actuarial plan values and how they are used in various pricing and analysis projects.
