JOB REQUIREMENTS: Position Description: As an Education Program Coordinator II in Academic Affairs you will work independently, under the direction of the Phase 2 Ambulatory Integrated Block Director and Phase 2 EPC III Lead to manage the Ambulatory Integrated Block implementation for the Medical Doctorate Program. Collaborate with Clerkship Coordinators and MCWfusion Phase 2 faculty leaders to facilitate the achievement of the Phase 2 Ambulatory block and MCWfusion curriculum\'s goals. Primary Functions Coordinate and collaborate on the development of Ambulatory Integrated Block educational materials, course schedules, forms, and reports. Build a scheduling template for the Ambulatory Integrated Block that places students with faculty preceptors to meet Ambulatory block requirements. Maintain course timeline including tracking deadlines for course components and assignment schedules, course and exam materials and grades. Work with clerkship coordinators to populate schedule template for the 75 students in the Ambulatory block, three times per year. Create a system allowing students to rank \"selective\" choices for IM, Peds, and Surgical specialties in the Ambulatory block. Create and maintain assessment data for the Ambulatory Block grading committee. Build and maintain online course(s) in the Learning Management System (i.e., Brightspace) and curriculum information and scheduling databases (i.e., OASIS and MCWConnect). Maintain and populate course gradebook throughout the Ambulatory block. Maintain Ambulatory block timeline including tracking deadlines for course components. Organize virtual and in person course sessions, assessment opportunities, and course related special events. Coordinate and manage Ambulatory block outreach activities including acting as a liaison with community organizations and affiliate partners. Coordinate assessment and evaluation activities with a high degree of independence. Coordinate recruitment and training of program faculty and staff for clinical experiences and course related sessions. Provide in person support during Ambulatory block Patient Based Discussion sessions. Collaborate with the STAR center and OSCE Coordinator to run OSCE events and coordinate sessions with Standardized Patients (SPs). Respond to and work to accommodate student Absence Requests. Participate on appropriate committees relevant to the course. Ensure compliance with regulatory and institutional policies. Troubleshoot problems and advocate for medical students as needed.
