You will work closely with our finance, sales, and customer service teams to optimize credit policies, minimize risk, and maximize cash flow. This position reports to the Controller Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Evaluate the creditworthiness of potential customers using financial statements, credit reports, and other tools. Establish credit limits and terms for new and existing customers based on credit analysis and risk assessment. Monitor credit limits and review credit terms regularly to ensure they align with the financial condition and payment history of customers. Ensure the timely collection of outstanding invoices. Develop and implement effective collections strategies and processes. Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within the credit and collection function. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, providing a high level of customer service. Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to address customer concerns and improve payment processes. Prepare regular reports on key credit and collections metrics. Provide insights and recommendations to improve cash flow and reduce bad debt. Supervise and mentor the accounts receivable team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to credit and collections. Perform other responsibilities as assigned. Required Qualifications and KSA 3-5 plus years of credit and collection experience in manufacturing and construction environments. Strong knowledge of credit risk assessment, collections strategies, and financial analysis. Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations governing credit and collections.
