The Headlines:

In the role of Consumer Technical Insights Manager working in Milwaukee, WI, you will leverage trends, qualitative and quantitative consumer research and sensory science and practices to deliver consumer technical insights and research that help Molson Coors Beverage Company develop new products that delight our consumers.

This position reports to the Director R&D & Innovation – Beverage.

The Responsibilities:

· Lead a team of consumer scientists to deliver technical insights that guide our new beverage and packaging development process

· Collaborate with Marketing Insights, Marketing Innovation, and R&D Beverage Development teams during concept stages to guide the development of preferred beverage products, via shaping and delivering technical targets and sensory attributes for differentiated new liquid development projects

· Propose, design and implement research to answer key consumer questions to support Quality, Beverage R&D, and Packaging R&D teams, whilst effectively managing the CTI budget

· Design studies to deliver fundamental learnings on consumer sensory preferences including identifying white space opportunities for R&D programs, and using consumer research to validate new beverage and packaging technologies

· Develop research proposals, suggest research methodologies, and identify appropriate vendor partners to collaborate with.

· Introduce new research methodologies to the business, including leveraging new tools with consumer insight application such as machine learning and AI.

· Manage or support your team to manage external agency/vendor partners, screening/recruitment, oversight of temporary staff, day of study execution details, preparation of study materials (screeners, surveys, discussion guides) during CTI led consumer research studies

The Other Qualifications:

· You have a Bachelor’s degree in food science, consumer science or sensory science OR equivalent experience in the field.

· You have at least 5 years experience on a technical or marketing insights role

· You are a leader who loves a challenge, is solution oriented and builds relationships and collaborates for success in a cross functional team

· You are able to work in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment on the fuzzy front end of projects showing flexibility and a solution oriented approach to problem solving

· You have deep technical expertise in consumer qualitative and quantitative testing methodologies such as monadic / sequential monadic central location testing (CLT) , in-home use testing (IHUT), Landscape Segmentation Analysis (LSA) and Drivers of Liking (DoL)

· You are adept at advanced statistics and analytics methods and their application to consumer science

· You build relationships and collaborate to get to the desired outcome

· You take accountability for results – acting with integrity and honoring commitments

· You have a thirst for learning – you are always looking for ways to learn and help one another grow
