Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Specialist in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The role involves managing customer accounts, processing applications, and resolving queries in a timely and efficient manner. This position is critical to ensuring the smooth operations of our financial processes and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the posting of customer payments to accounts receivable and ensure accurate daily cash box reconciliation

• Manage the uploading of invoices into third party portals for payment and address any discrepancies

• Communicate with customers to resolve any queries related to cash application

• Distribute company mail throughout the office in an orderly manner

• Provide daily cash reports as required by the central accounting department

• Maintain customer accounts by assisting with queries related to receivables and billing, and conducting research when necessary

• Issue credit and debit memos as directed and process accounts receivable adjustments

• Act as a backup for the Credit department and switchboard when necessary

• Manage filing and cash receipt systems

• Utilize Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, Accounting Functions, Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing Functions, Cash Activity, Epicor, Microsoft Excel to perform tasks. Requirements • Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services

• Competency in performing Accounting Functions

• Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR) processes

• Ability to manage Billing Functions accurately

• Proven experience in handling Cash Activity

• Knowledge of the Epicor system

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
