ManpowerGroup Senior Field Applications Engineer in Milpitas, California

Our client, a global leader in the design and manufacturing of power and control technologies is seeking a Senior Field Applications Engineer to join their team. As a Sr. Field Applications Engineer, you will be part of the Key Accounts group supporting Sales, Marketing & Engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service, business development skills and experience in semiconductor/thin film industry which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Senior Field Applications Engineer

Location: Milpitas, CA

Pay: $130,000-$170,000 + bonus/incentive

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for providing the sales account team, the corporate product marketing and engineering teams, and customers with technical support in the field.

  • Build critical relationships: Demonstrate constant focus on and investment in building strong relationships with key contacts within customer accounts

  • Liaise technically: Based upon your day-to-day engagement with AE's customers, products, and applications, act as proactive technical liaison among our OEM customers, end-user customers

  • Develop and execute plans to secure and defend customer design wins.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of wafer fab industry experience

  • Strong EE BG, specialty in RF Power and/or Plasma Processing is ideal

  • Working knowledge of thin film industry (e.g., semiconductor, data storage, display/flat panel, advanced coatings)

  • Knowledge in vacuum science, RF power/match networks, and/or plasma processing equipment and applications.

  • Intricate knowledge of wafer fabrication equipment used in semiconductor manufacturing
