Job Description

Performs various types of soldering including surface mount, thru-hole, and hand-soldering. work under a microscope on electronic assemblies.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform complex rework and touch up surface mount board assemblies

  • Assist manufacturing department in electro-mechanical assembly of system level products

  • Maintain safe working environment by following company safety procedures

  • Maintain clean and organized workspaces

  • Working knowledge of proficient soldering and re-work techniques in accordance with IPC and JSTD standards

Required Education, Skills and Experience:

  • At least two years of experience as a PCB rework technician or similar role

  • Ability to hand solder components under a microscope

  • Knowledge and adherence of basic ESD protocols

  • Working knowledge of computers and office suite (outlook, word, and excel)

  • Ability to work in a team based environment

  • Must be willing to work overtime and weekends as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2 year degree IPC-610-A certification 5

  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs

Salary Range:

$59,400.00-$79,310.000
