What You Will Be Doing:
As a Facilities Maintenance Tech for Yancey Bros Co, you will be responsible for performing routine preventative maintenance and repair procedure on Yancey’s buildings and mechanical equipment.
Primary Responsibilities:
Repair and troubleshoot mechanical equipment and periodic maintenance of equipment (pumps, gears, piping, etc)
Backwash filter systems, clean foot valves and filtration systems
General maintenance of buildings such as painting, concrete repairs, replacing light bulbs, sweeping, mopping and other general housekeeping duties
Changing air filters on A/C units
Additional Responsibilities:
Participate in required safety program, and work in a safe manner.
Additional duties as assigned by manager.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Required Qualifications/Skills:
Must be able to work independently, have a mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills
Repair and troubleshoot basic mechanical equipment
Must be able to work on high lift, up to 30 feet and lift up to 60 lbs
Must be able to work in confined, dirty spaces
Must be able to supply own tools for repairs to mechanical equipment (for things like pumps and gears)
A Valid Class C Driver’s License
