Adecco US, Inc. Welding Trainor Night Shift in Mills, Wyoming
Pay Rate: $35.36/hr + .90/hr shift differential
Schedule: Mon-Thur 4pm-3am & Fri & Sat 4pm-10pm
Responsibilities:
Provide hands-on instruction in various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux-Core welding.
Assess trainees' skill levels and recommend customized training paths.
Emphasize safe welding practices, proper equipment usage, and adherence to OSHA and company safety standards.
Monitor trainees' performance to ensure high-quality work that meets industry and company standards.
Conduct periodic assessments to validate skills and certify trainees in welding processes.
Ensure all training equipment, tools, and welding machines are maintained and in good working order.
Demonstrate proper setup, operation, and maintenance of welding equipment.
Collaborate with production supervisors and management to identify training needs.
Provide regular progress reports and feedback to trainees, supervisors, and leadership.
Stay updated on advancements in welding techniques and technology to improve training programs.
Serve as a mentor to trainees, fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.
Address trainees' questions and challenges to promote understanding and skill development.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in welding preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of welding experience in a production or fabrication environment.
Previous experience as a trainer or instructor is highly desirable.
Proficient in various welding techniques and processes.
Strong understanding of welding codes, blueprints, and technical specifications.
Excellent communication and instructional skills.
Ability to assess trainee skills and provide constructive feedback.
Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or Certified Welding Educator (CWE) preferred.
