Bureau of Naval Personnel SUPERVISORY FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in Millington, Tennessee

Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the BUSINESS OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT of NAVY PERSONNEL COMMAND. Responsibilities You will analyze the effect of changes in program plans and funding on financial and budget program milestones. You will advise program personnel on budget and finance program planning and execution. You will analyze proposed financial management system modifications to ensure compliance with financial principles and practices. You will advise financial administration employees on program goals and objectives. You will brief a wide range of audiences (e.g., financial team, managers, customers) regarding financial information, concepts and ideas. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) ) Drafting and formulating budgets, task plans, and budget execution plans; 2) Using various financial management systems to enter data and retrieve reports; 3) Ensuring organizational financial practices are in compliance with financial management rules and regulations; and 4) Advising management on recommended solutions to financial management, accounting and reporting problems. A 40 hour work week is typical for this position. This position is at the full performance level. Certain incentives (such as Recruitment, Relocation or Student Loan Repayment) may be authorized to eligible selectees. A relocation incentive is generally a single payment intended to offset some of the relocation costs experienced by the selectee. A relocation incentive may be authorized.
