The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a Software Developer in support of the Enterprise Support Information Technology/Chief Information Officer (ES IT/CIO) Business Process Reengineering (BPR) Team. As a Power Platform Developer you will work with business users to gather requirements and build business application solutions using the U.S. Navy’s Flank Speed M365 Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Query, and Power BI). You will integrate and automate solutions that work with other apps across the M365 platform, such as SharePoint Online, Planner, Excel, and Teams. You will support our production business applications for users across the board.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for researching, designing, developing and/or modifying software systems (e.g., custom, COTS, GOTS). Presents ideas for system improvements. Conducts impact analysis for software changes. Produces detailed specifications and writes software code. Works closely with business analysts, designers, and subject matter experts to understand functional requirements. Conducts unit tests and documents findings. Supports formal testing in controlled environment before code is promoted to production. Adheres to program configuration change control standards. Provides input into training manuals for users. Understands the structure and functionality of the COTS applications (e.g., Oracle, SAP, and Momentum). Writes interfaces and conversion routines leveraging the application programmatic interface (API). Extends applications by using applicable application tools. Maintains knowledge of feature and technical changes in the application.

  • Direct impact of the organizational visibility and transparency of our customer by engineering high-quality business solutions and reports for senior leadership.

  • Coordinate with diverse teams to promote the best fit-for-use apps and solution architectures.

  • Deliver regular project status reports to management that capture the actions, progress, and challenges for ongoing projects.

  • Support/interface with the customer via the telephone, video conferencing, email, chat, and applicable online presence.

  • Work independently with general supervision applying your strong analytical and reasoning abilities to design reliable solutions with the least complexity required.

  • Build and Maintain SharePoint User Groups and Lists, setting permissions based on User Groups and need to know basis.

  • Build Power Apps that feed data into predetermined SharePoint Lists.

  • Build Power Bi Presentations to demonstrate data changes within a database.

  • Build Power Queries to compare data and present to other teams for review.

Qualifications:

Required:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or management information systems and three years of experience in software, systems, business processes, system/network/software/hardware integration and M365 Power Platform.

  • Active Secret Clearance.

  • Strong analysis and critical thinking skills.

  • Ability to build out Power Apps and troubleshoot any functional errors; create code inside of Power Apps.

  • Ability to navigate, create, and set SharePoint user permissions, have data feed into SharePoint Lists and manage lists accordingly.

  • Ability to integrate Power Apps with Dataverse data storage and manipulation.

  • Create flows with Power Automate and implementing into other Power Platform tools.

  • Working knowledge of Power Bi and how to build out live presentations to management and other teams.

  • Power Query experience: building queries to compare data and provide reports to management and other teams.

Desired:

  • Knowledge in VBA/Python and other coding languages: the ability to read, transcribe, troubleshoot, and document in proper code commenting.

  • 2+ years building solutions with M365 Power Platform development.

  • Master’s degree.

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. Since this position can be worked in more than one location, the range shown is the national average for the position.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$57,500-$117,900
