Aston Carter Operations Analyst in Millington, Tennessee

Job Title: Operations AnalystJob Description

• Compile information, organize/interpret data, and produce various daily/weekly reports using SAP and Microsoft Excel for operations. • Identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement in operations. • Prepare purchase orders for plant expenditures. Submit vendor invoices for payment. • Order and maintain inventory of plant supplies. • Perform general office support responsibilities, including greeting and assisting guests; reviewing, sorting, and distributing incoming mail when needed. • Maintain customer and vendor files. • Process and create POs for operations. • File all closed work orders, POs, invoices, and miscellaneous operation documents. • Answer questions and assist in resolutions related to operations and inventory. • Analyze finished goods and raw material inventory needs to assure all necessary arrangements are made to meet production. • Assist on inventory, logistics support, and month-end closings. • Recognize, understand, and participate in the company’s quality and safety initiatives. This includes the knowledge and adherence to policies, objectives, and work-related instructions. • Assist supervisors and act as liaison as needed. • Work side by side with operations team in keeping production and facility activities running smoothly and efficiently. • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
