Aerotek Maintenance Mechanic in Milford, Connecticut

Description:

Aerotek is looking for Maintenance Mechanics in the Milford/New Haven area for an immediate job opening. This facility fabricates and distributes various steel products, and these people will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, installing, assembling, and repairing mechanical and electrical components on the manufacturing equipment throughout the facility.

Tasks include:

• Review documentation / work orders

• Trouble shoot / diagnose electrical equipment / motor machinery issues

• Provide all types of repairs to electrical elements of machinery and equipment throughout the plant

• Assemble and repair equipment for the plant

• Design and plan electrical components related to machinery

• Identify, address and repair safety issues throughout the plant

• Provide preventive and predictive maintenance to machinery according to scheduled times

• Order parts and maintain supplies

Skills & Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of previous maintenance mechanic or automotive mechanic experience

• Basic Electrical skills

• Reliability and punctuality

• Ability to work both independently and in a group

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00
