Program Summary

. KBR is seeking a motivated and energetic professional to be the administrative assistant for our government client.

Job Summary

This individual will support the front office directly with senior civilian and military leaders. This individual is the first-person senior officials throughout the Air Force interact, so must always present a professional demeanor. To be successful in this role, you should be well-organized, have excellent time management skills, and be able to act independently with little guidance. This is an on-site position working Monday through Friday with potential for one to two days per week of telework.

Roles and Responsibilities

· Proofreading, editing and formatting correspondence to Air Force standards, producing the finished product for senior level signatures.

· Typical duties include general clerical, receptionist, and project-based work. Responsibilities may be unique to a specific function or department such as Procurement or Engineering but are mainly administrative in nature.

· Provide overall administrative support to include management of schedules, special presentation preparation, coordination of special events, travel arrangements, expense reporting, and support of communications to other senior officials and customers.

· This role will require frequent interaction with internal and external organizational contacts, customers, vendors, and representatives of professional organizations that will require good diplomacy and judgment to resolve conflicting needs

· This position may also be involved in meetings in which management-only discussions occur, so discretion is required.

· Under minimal supervision, performs a variety of executive administrative support duties that are complex in nature and where judgment and initiative are required in resolving problems and making recommendations.

· Proactively follow-up on critical actions in order to effectively meet deadlines, commitments.

Basic Qualifications

· High school diploma or equivalent

· 8+ years’ experience

· Microsoft Office expertise (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Outlook calendar management

· Command of English to grammatically correct correspondence

Preferred Qualifications

· Associate or Bachelor's degree

· General understanding of the United States Air Force, Tinker AFB or functions of System Program Offices within the Air Force

· Experience with Air Force Tongue and Quill
