Aerospace Assembler - Satellite Systems

Location: Midland, TX

Start Date: 12/3 (or Tuesdays weekly thereafter)

Job Description:

We are seeking an Assembler to join our production team, working on satellite systems assembly. In this role, you will be responsible for manually assembling parts, using various hand tools, and ensuring the quality of finished components. Key responsibilities include:

• Assembling satellite sub-assembly parts by hand.

• Sorting, placing, and organizing materials on tables, racks, or bins.

• Using measuring tools and test equipment to ensure accurate assembly.

• Cleaning and packaging assembled parts in protective bags or boxes.

• Moving, sorting, and organizing small parts and materials.

• Using jigs and small tools to manipulate parts for assembly.

• Performing other tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

Basic Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.

• U.S.Citizen, Permanent Resident, or authorized non-citizen worker.

• Assembly or manufacturing experience, ideally with small electronics.

• Strong aptitude for working with small electrical components and mechanical equipment, including soldering.

• Experience in the space or aeronautical field is a plus.

Work Schedule:

• 1st Shift: 7:30 am - 4:00 pm

• 2nd Shift: 4:00 pm - 12:30 am

• 3rd Shift: 11:00 pm - 7:30 am

Compensation:

• Pay Rate: $27/hour (taxed)

• Per Diem: $192/day

• Overtime: 1.5x pay (on both taxed and per diem)

Additional Information:

• Interviews are held every Tuesday and Thursday from 2-4 pm CT in 15-minute intervals.

• This role will require working during Christmas week, with the only day off being Christmas Day. Candidates not comfortable with this schedule should set a start date for January.

Note: This role involves handling small parts and requires attention to detail. Ideal for candidates with a technical backgroundcheck and experience in assembly.
