Description We are in the process of expanding our team in the Oil & Gas - Field Services industry, and are currently based in Midland, Texas. The role we are looking to fill is that of an Accounts Payable Supervisor/Manager. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity where you will oversee the activities of a team of 4, handling all aspects of Accounts Payable including Ariba and Open Invoice.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage a team of 4 members, ensuring smooth operation of the accounts payable department

• Handle all aspects of Accounts Payable, ensuring accuracy and efficiency

• Proficiently use accounting software systems for data processing and account coding

• Manage and process customer credit applications, ensuring precision and timeliness

• Maintain and update customer credit records, ensuring they are accurate and up-to-date

• Resolve customer inquiries, providing excellent communication and customer service

• Monitor customer accounts, taking appropriate action when necessary

• Utilize Ariba and Open Invoice for managing payable invoices

• Perform auditing and accrival accounting functions as required

• Review and enter vendor invoices, ensuring they adhere to company policies and guidelines. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Coding

• Familiarity with various Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services

• Knowledge of Concur software

• Skilled in Data Processing

• Understanding of general Accounting Functions

• Proficiency in handling Accounts Payable (AP)

• Knowledge of Accrual Accounting

• Experience in Auditing

• Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) processes

• Knowledge of Open Invoice software

• Excellent Communication Skills

• Familiarity with Ariba software

• Ability to Code Invoices

• Skilled in Coding Invoices

• Experience with Enter Invoices

• Ability to Enter Vendor Invoices

• Experience with Monthly Invoices

• Proficiency in handling Payable Invoices

• Ability to Review Invoices

• Experience with Vendor Invoices
