SOLUTIONS LEADER I

Reports to:  Vice President Risk Management

 

Position Overview

The primary purpose of this position is to assist Members First Credit Union to deliver on its mission: To encourage a better tomorrow. Essential Duties

  • Provide training, direction and coaching of staff in fostering a sales and service culture.
  • Ensure all account collection activity, including collateral repossession, mortgage foreclosure, liquidation, bankruptcy, and subsequent charge off process meets credit union, state, and Federal regulations.
  • Supervise entire Solutions staff. Schedules and delegates departmental activities to ensure accomplishment of required tasks.  Assist staff with the performance of their assigned duties. 
  • Monitor performance and service standards of the Solutions Department and ensures standards are being met.
  • Manage all collection related service vendors, including contract management and vendor due diligence.
  • Accountable for the overall handling of the CPI program, processes, procedures, training, and contracts

Deliver on the Credit Union' Service Promises in every service situation.

Foster a positive working environment for employee empowerment through coaching and support.

Manage all aspects of the Solutions Department operations.

Monitor and analyze economic conditions and collection trends affecting the credit union and recommend appropriate action.

Ensure collection policies and procedures are legal and best serve the credit union and its members.

Ensure compliance with rules and regulations.

Promotes and participates in a sales and service culture consistent with the credit union's goal of making a positive difference in the lives of our members.

Analyze financial situation of delinquent borrowers; provide financial counseling to past due members; take action to repossess collateral when arrangements to bring the loan current are unsuccessful or unsustainable.
