We are currently looking for an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis.  This opportunity will be working ‘on-site’ in our Midland, MI office. Responsibilities: * Provides administrative project support to the members of their team and serves as the meeting coordinator for client, team and/or office meetings; * Creates and composes administrative correspondence and technical documents with thorough audit and application of formatting, grammar, spelling and punctuation; * Assist with all aspects of a project (i.e., proposals, service agreements, sub-contractor coordination, reports, specifications, bidding, contract documents, construction, meeting agendas and minutes, etc.); * Generate monthly reports for department and senior leadership; * Help ensure effective and efficient workflow; * Manage deadlines and tracks important dates; * Administrative duties also include, expense reports, help to manage multiple calendars, make travel arrangements, assist with setting up office party events; * General duties include answering phones, mailing, supplies, and facilities management; * Promote F&V’s culture and a positive image of the firm. Qualifications: * Associates degree with 2+ years’ experience OR 4 years of administrative office experience preferred; * Experience in engineering, or similar field strongly desired; * Advanced Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe and PowerPoint; * Deltek Vision (or similar timekeeping software) experience a plus; * Working in an engineering office environment performing various technical and administrative assignments, requiring strong attention to detail; * Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities while meeting deadlines; * Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills; * Take initiative, follow through on requests until completion; * Self-motivated team player; * On occasion, may need to work outside of normal business hours.
