Quality Engineering CO-OP (Fall-2024) - 74502

DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Schneider Electric has a great opportunity for a Quality Engineer CO-OP in the Middletown, PA facility starting now through December of 2024. This position is on-site so the ideal candidate will be located in the general area. T his will be a full-time CO-OP position, meaning you must be enrolled in an active college program, but not actively taking courses to be eligible for this role. No visa sponsorship or relocation will be provided for this role.

What will you do? * Participate in continuous improvement activities like Kaizen events * Analyze data and make suggestions for process improvement * Assist Quality Manager and team in quality management in the Distribution Center * Assist in building Quality awareness and programs * Utilize Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, Minitab and Tableau to manage dashboards * Deliver results as measured by key metrics, such as supplier OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), OTD (On Time Delivery), DPPM (defective parts per million), SCAR (Supplier Corrective Action Request), and VA/VE (Value Added / Value Engineered) improvements * Develop and validate processes used in manufacturing * Other projects as needed / working alongside seasoned professionals

What qualifications will make you successful? * Working towards Engineering, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or related bachelor's degree * Have some experience with Excel, Access, and Tableau * Junior or Senior in college * You are a team player who has a great attitude and strong work ethic
